About Me

Hi. I’m Megan Jones AKA Coating Chic. I have worked for about 20 years for one of the industry leaders in metal finishing. Coming from a career full of thrills, sales trips, and high dollar bonus at places like Roche Diagnostics and Angies LIst. I wasn’t sure what I would think about going into factories and production facilities. However, I gave it a try and my father said he needed my help. It turns out I love it! It is fascinating to walk into a production facility and see behind the scenes of how things I see in stores are made. I hope to bring as much education, and expertise to the metal finishing world and be the solution to any processing needs.

When I’m not working on industrial coatings, I’m a mom wife and equestrian. I have a family of three humans and 6 animals. My husband Kevin is in commercial real estate “the bread winner,” and my 8 year old son is in 3rd grade and all the sports he can be giu jitz su, basketball, and football. Needless to say I’m busy. When I’m not trying to be supermom, I’m an accomplished equestrian showing my Arabian and Half Arabian geldings on the competition circuit.
